It seems that SET PRINTER TO NAME does not set or change the WINDOWS default printer flag. It just changes your SESSION default printer. I like obvious solutions :) However I noticed that I needed to leave the Settings in EXPR field for page setup to be maintained. Thanks for your help. Bob
