>Tamar, I have a large manual and several dozen associated documents in Word documenting a software project. I'm considering consolidating all of those into a single large manual in .chm format, similar to what you and Ted did with "Hacker's Guide" and other Hentzenwerke publications. Are any of the tools you used in creating the .chm files for those projects available either in the public domain or commercially?
Seems to me we wrote some articles about what we did. I think Ted wrote something in FPA way, way back after HackFox 6, and Doug wrote something in FoxTalk (?) after HackFox 7.
All the code we used was homegrown, except for the final step of generating the actual CHM, which I'm pretty sure did use the HTML Help Compiler.
