I see the twit filter in a different way, just like others said before here:
When you twit someone, may mean that you don't want to keep discussing with that person.
Remember that a fight only exists when both sides decide to do so.

If one side refuses to go ahead fighting, the matter probably will end.
Other people recognize that they can't control themselves, and choose just to stop receiving messages from another person.

Thais may be just for a short time period, till things get clearer. Nothing is forever, my friend !
