>>- foreign movies have you seen
>
>a few
In most of the rest of the world, people see hundreds of foreign movies. Specially in smaller countries which simply can't produce that much. Actually, in retrospect, I can say that of the movies I saw, about 10% were domestic, 80% in English and the rest is the rest. Which still means I heard Ingrid Bergman speak Swedish and Brigitte Bardot speak French, and I heard all of the Fellini right.
>>Now repeat the above count for:
>>- musicals
>
>1 - Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds - The Best Little -----house in Texas :)
If they were anywhere close to Proper Texan Speekin, that may count as a foreign language, but still the WCC (western cultural circle).
>>- theater plays
>rare.
>>- police serials
>CSI,
>>- rock concerts
>a few.
>>- historic serials (bet some didn't know these existed)
>Rome on HBO!
Rome was produced in Italy by the BBC (UK), HBO (USA), and RAI (Italy). So still in English, and within WCC.
>>- SF anything (movies, books by foreign authors, cartoons)
>Oooh. Lots of each! ;)
OK, count four non-WCC authors.
