I didn't want to make the news, because I thought that among the support messages there'd be some disparaging remark against smokers as people, which would suffice to get me back among the smokers ;). Anti-smoking propaganda is just dirty and nasty as any other propaganda, and I just didn't want to get pushed into my gut reaction cycle, so I kept mum for a few weeks until I was sure that it was as easy as it seemed.
