Hi Naomi,

I don't understand exactly what you mean, but if you want to have more control over the appearance of the controls inside the columns of a GridView, you need to convert the columns into template columns. In this case, you can manipulate the controls the way you like and you can even use other controls like comboboxes or multiline textboxes. Its even possible to have more than one control within a single column.
