Probably all over the India this is a practice but I am sure the Western India has this convention.
So my name is Bhavbhuti (first) Yagnik (Dad's name) Nathwani (surname).
>Does the same thing happen with female names?
Female names follows this pattern until she marries, then she get the husband's name as the middle and husband's surname as her surname.
BTW your company's name is Paramit Corporation any (North) Indian connection? :)
