And that's probably where your problem is. How are you updating this? Using a separate thread? I think you're supposed to be using the new BackgroundWorker class to do this sort of thing. I have no experience with using that class, but I think there are a few posts about it here already. I notice that you're not PUTM, so you can't search for them ... let me see what I can dig up.
