Here is a funny story, which was not very funny at the time!

When I received my first version of VMF, I took the enclosed book to work. This was ten years ago by the way. I was commuting from Santa Clara to Redwood City at the time.

It was a winter’s night and at 5:30 PM it was dark as I entered the train. Upon sitting down I began to read Drew’s VMF book. What a fun read! So much so that I missed my stop and ended up in downtown San Jose, which required me to walk about 5 miles back to where my car was parked near the train station! What a feeling that was! But the book was fun to read and the product is my favorite framework for VFP, and I have used them all.
