>>It was a winter’s night and at 5:30 PM it was dark as I entered the train. Upon sitting down I began to read Drew’s VMF book. What a fun read! So much so that I missed my stop and ended up in downtown San Jose, which required me to walk about 5 miles back to where my car was parked near the train station! What a feeling that was! But the book was fun to read and the product is my favorite framework for VFP, and I have used them all.

>Tom, have you kept up with the newer versions and migrated apps to stay current?

No I have not. I do check the forum from time to time. I am going to retire one day soon and will use VMF (the latest version) to do consulting. The rat race is getting old. :)

By the way I had some interesting clients:

California Water Department
HP
NEC
Oracle (would you believe!)
Sony Music
University of California Berkeley
And many more.
