Yes, that's right - but this is the problem:

- The Data are stored in a dbf file with Codepage 1252 in character and memo fields without NOCPTRANS (no binary fields).

- If I use the dedicated font and foncharset for displaying as described (for example in a form) all is fine.

- If I look at the dbf using BROWSE with Arial - I see some wrong characters.

- The same wrong character can I see after CursorToXml within the result XML file!


The problem is: The wrong character will be made to non-wrongs due to the font/foncharset automatically for display purposes - as far as I can see my job is to convert the non-wrong displayed wrong character into a eastern Europe code page manner to make the code page conversion flags of CursorToXml work!

I hope this makes it a little bit more clear!
