>>>>>>Good Grief! Grow up and move on... You're beating this horse to a dungy reddish brown stain on the rug. There ain't anything left to beat. Drop it.
>>>>>
>>>>>Good grief, stop telling other people to grow up. It's insulting.
>>>>
>>>>No. It's not.

>>>Yes it is insulting to tell another to grow up. It is another way of saying 'stop acting childish'. It is derogatory. It is the act of someone who thinks high of oneself and low of the other. It is an act of arrogancy, of too much self-esteem and not enough respect for the other.
>>
>>That makes a huge assumption. Many many people act foolishly, childishly, start wars, fights in parliament. The human is far from perfect. A reminder to be better than the lowest is a good thing.
>
>I guess you are saying here that 'grow up' has been said as a well-meant advice and not meant as an insult. There are indeed some messages here where it was a well-meant (but IMO untactical) advice, but there are other places where it was only an act of sneering, of derogating, of insulting.

Yes. I suppose so. I did not do this however.

>>>That's your evaluation of her, not mine. I don't think of her as weak at all. Some here see it as strong if she stops. I think what she needs most now is growing more and more assertive. All who slap her in the face here with so-called 'tough love' deserve some slaps back from her.

>>Hardly.

>>>It's quite simple: Injustice is a theme in my life. Where I see it happening I try to be of help.
>>
>>Injustice is in the eye of the beholder. What you consider injustice is just your opinion.

>>>>Why don't you consider the feelings of others and stop frustrating so many people?
>>>
>>>You mean those others who time and again tell me and Naomi to not worry about what others think? They are grownups, aren't they? So I guess they cannot possibly become frustrated. <g>
>>
>>Sure they can. That's why there's a twit filter.
>
>Sure they can. I was trying to be sarcastic. See the grin <g>. But those same people expect other people to not worry about what others think of them. Isn't that irony?

Yes it is. I think you mean well by your support of Naomi, but I believe if she was strong enough not to worry about who twitted her she would be much better off. Don't you agree with that?
