Actually it is not for them to create the cursor name, but the fields that are being used. This is for a user defined check list. They create the checklist items (fields) and valid answers that will be displayed in a drop-down when answering the checklist items. Our system separates things into departments, so each department can have a separate checklist and separate answers. When I run the report, I create a cursor on the fly based on the checklist items. I control the cursor name at run time.
