Yes, and I admired the guy. But you gotta admit... he comes from a vanishing breed.

I must also admit that instances have been, but rare, that I voted specificall because of what I thoought/knew of a local candidate. Most of the time I voted for the guy in the party of the person I wanted to be PM.
In the last I did neither. I voted Green specificaly as a protest.
