Nothing really, I use SMTP for other applications, but then the user has to set up all the SMPT settings and most people have no clue how to do this. I compare this feature that I am adding to the send to->mail recipient interface in explorer.

Can the System.Net.Mail namespace assist me in sending emails through the default mail provider?
