If you were thinking in Serbian, thinking in reverse would come naturally ;).

There's a sort of fashion to imitate the Russian "tomu nazad", so now many people now build their sentences not as "već pet godina mislim..." (it's five years now since I think...) but "mislim pet godina unazad" (I'm thinking five years backwards).

I accept that this new way of building the sentence has its usage sometimes - in my city, the buses are starting backwards from the new bus station for 33 years, because they have to. If they were starting forwards there'd be dead people or at least broken bones. That's how they built the concourse.
