There were problems with re-indexing the tables from a propritary package we use. The vendor is looking into it but I'm trying to lend a hand.

The CDX file for the table no longer exists.

I can open the table (I guess the CDX reference was removed from the table).

However, if we do a SQL SELECT from the table the result is the infamous C000... error and VFP crashes.

When I look at the DBC I can find the table and it's child records. There are four index records. I'm assuming objectname in the dbc is the TagName. However, I can't seem to find the KEY() information.

Is that stored anywhere other than the CDX itself? If so, could somebody point me to where and to some documentation on how to decipher it (assuming it's not ASCII)
