That's exactly what I was trying right now.

I am also copying all tre properties of the design time object with the
amembers() method...but that slows it down a lot...any idea on how to improve this?

My second step would be to create a class for this new type of label. This would
actually be my first real use of classes...can you guide me here a bit ?
