Thanks for the response.

The vendor found that the C00... error came from corruption in the Memo file. They were able to rebuild it from backup with only 5 or 6 records needing to be verified as being up to date.

They also were sufficiently backed up and had the right tools to rebuild the index. I never had any doubts about that.....just sort of trolling for the information you provided in case I could find a solution more quickly since I am already on-site.
