Often, it was the others reacting to his posts who made the first comment that I would actually consider 'out of line.' Also, whenever he made any comment even suggesting that VFP was not always the best tool for the job or suggesting that the lifetime of VFP was not that long down the road, he was virtually swarmed on with verbal admonishments and attacks Tracy, I agree with you 100%, especially these two sentences. Like I said earlier, the two threads provided by Alan and JR demonstrate JVP asking questions/raising issues from a different angle, and it's the reactions to JVPs comments that often stirred things up. I realize the term "think outside the box" is a huge cliche', but in this case, that's exactly what JVP was doing.
