I'm sorry, I find nothing inflammatory about that statement.

That's because you're choosing a convenient interpretation of the term "Fox." ;-) Surely you can see there is another possible/probable interpretation? Especially when the term "Fox" is used more than once in that same post and clearly does not refer to the dbf alone.

Two charming examples: ;-)

Careers in Fox, at least from my standpoint, was a success. Blindly staying with the tool in the face of reality - now that is a failure.

and

One need not go any further than the ex-leaders of the Fox community that are no longer around - that have moved on. The most successful people remaining in Fox will not come close to achieving the success these people will achieve.

Without arguing over whether these assertions are valuable technical contributions or perhaps a touch abrasive/inflammatory- surely we can agree that in context, "Fox" does not refer only to the dbf. Which takes us back to the start of the circle. ;-)

Mike B is right; lets just agree to disagree.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
