The original problem has been found! If you remember I wanted to return to the grid where the user left off. Well, when I was getting the next record, I was not in the proper work area, DUH!!! - I made sure the line before I buffered the next row's key was a select (ProperWorkArea).... (There was no select, and when the report ran it changed work areas on me!!!)

So this is a solution to the original problem. Thanks to all, for your suggestions. If I could just learn to read what I write <vbg>

Yet I still have the problem below in the grid.
The code in the grid events are: In the afterrowcol method, I have code that canges the form caption to display the customers full name.
In the when event, there is a check, that would return false.
And the all of the text boxes that have code in the doubleclick event to popup a modal screen with details of the invoice/packing list.

Also weird behaivour of grid in debugger. If debugger is on, I cannot select
any record at all. Clicking anywhere on the grid goes to the BOTTOM (go figure) of the grid and stays there.
Any ideas about what is going on?

TIA,
Mike
