Just curious .. is this because you are getting an error and have to find the offending object? If so .. change the REPORT FORM command in your application to be MODIFY REPORT. Now you can run your app and let it get whatever options and build the data as needed. When the report designer comes up, select preview. The error will pop up .. and then when you close the error dialog.. the properties dialog of the offending object pops up in the designer.
