We don't really know, do we? AFAIK Kevin has repeatedly evaded questions about whether John even wants to return.

I thought I'd answered this before....but for clarity, John said that (if reinstated) he might pop in from time to time, mainly in the .NET area. I've never been "evasive" about this...
