We created a VFP9 database container that we use to access our SQL Server tables. We create remote views to the SQL Server tables for easy access. Only me and another programmer have access to this DBC.

The problem we have is that if one of us has used the DBC and accessed a view, (OPEN DATA mydata, USE myview), the next person that opens the DBC and tries to click on a view gets a 'Connectivity error' error message. The problem is that the Data Source in the Connection Designer that we created in the DBC has changed to the first Data Source in the drop down, which is wrong. We always have to change the Data Source back to the correct Data Source in the drop before we can continue.

This is an irritating problem. Has anyone else seen this problem before? Neither of us ever mess with the Data Source in the Connection Designer, but for some reason the Data Source gets changed when the next person attempts to USE a view.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
