I'm not commenting on whether either of the protagonists was behaving well. But you must know that if pushed, I have a potty-mouthed post from a certain person that is beyond the pale. ;-)
Look, I simply reported the allegations in response to a similar suggestion made by somebody else. As I said in the original post, I don't know (or care) whether it's true. Except that apart from anything else, it seems that JVP was indeed back as a MVP in 2002. Perhaps you should review some of your own comments regarding this.
FWIW, I've also posted a link to an extremely helpful/useful post from JVP. If only it were always like that. IMHO great people have their own special demons and JVP is no exception. Maybe people who saw that should have tried harder to soften the edges. Maybe Rod et al should have camped out here more. Maybe I should have done something different. Dunno.
