Becoming bored with this topic, I would like to propose that Messrs KG and JR participate in a verbal duel.
The topic of the duel is "RVs in VFP vs. SPs and Typed datasets in dotNET."
I propose that Mr Goff should argue the VFP position; his opponent should speak for the NET position.
A maximum of 20 shots/posts each should be allowed over a 24-hour period, after which the debate will be closed.
A panel (including JVP?) will then be invited to rate the participants according to a list of attributes, including quality of argument, timeliness of responses, and efficient use of the post ration.
A grand winner will then be declared.
People interested in taking a seat on the panel should state their interest at the first opportunity.
