You know that I don't like discussions like this and would just skip this thread too but I couldn't resist:(
The quote in italics above was wrong in the first place. I read that jumpstart and if you ask me it's not worth to fill a tea spoon about ADO, more or less valuable than many FAQ, magazine, download contributions of many community members on this forum and other forums most of which are not MVPs. It was the only technical content I have ever seen from him ever (well I must admit I haven't read all of his posts to find one another).
PS: I don't question how he or anyone else got his MVP status because it is none of my business. I would only question myself if I deserve it or not:)
