You didn't write it, but you didn't write 'minority' neither. I think that you don't understand that language is imprecise and unless you specify explicitly what you have in mind, different peoples will interpret differently the same phrase.

It's you who decided what words to use (or not use) in your original post. If you didn't want your wordings to be interpreted in the wrong way, then it's up to you to choose wisely the words you use. Specially when posting something that can easyly be interpreted as insulting.

Because the offensive statement you made is wrong IMO when generalized to all US citizens.
