Not as far as I can tell. I rented the tv here for basketball games and because it's a temporary situation (and because the days are not exactly filled here). At home I don't have cable, so I only get 3 or 4 channels (depending on weather), and none of them are really clear. Of course, they are also all local Toronto channels, the clearest of which is CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) where the motto is, "if it isn't boring, it isn't worth airing." I do watch DVDs sometimes, so at least the box does get some use.
