I'm running a Dell laptop with Centrino Core Duo processor (2.2GHz) and Windows Vista Business. I have installed VFP 9.0 SP2 and it runs quite well. The big difference between your PC and mine is that I have 4GB of RAM. If you bump up your RAM, I think you'll see a big improvement in response.
