I am not sure what failed when I did this before, but the BeforeCursorFill code is now working as you gentlement suggested. Thanks for prompting me to try again. It very well could be that I was changing the Object.SelectCmd rather than the cSelectCmd being passed in and THAT was my issue. Nevertheless, you guys put me back on the right track -- thanks!
