>My invoice and invoice item tables are related by invoice_id in both tables. This relationship is set up in my invoice report's data environment. Now I need to add another 1:m relationship--this time between the invoice file and a payments file, and I need to add payment information to the printed invoice. How can I set up the invoice report to show any number of invoice items followed by a subtotal, then any number of payment items, followed by a net due figure?

What you want to do is have multiple detail lines. It's not easy but can be done by having multiple objects in the detail line and using the PrintWhen of each.
