I am beginning to think there is something going on my machine!

Have a routine were 3 files are created and 2 of them are appened to on a daily basis and the payroll created once per week. All thre3 are in the same folder. Typically we only run the payroll transactions once a week and they are imported into SBT for billing and payroll purposes. Since this is a new procedure for us, the last 3 weeks things went well exept for last week when it was decided to do 2 runs for payroll and it surprized me that the one file was not appended to! the other 2 worked okay. After pulling my hair our, changed the name and it worked like the other 2 have been doing all along.

Just does not make sense to me.

>Is file created has read-only attribute, by any chance? Did you try to create file in a different folder?
