I am receiving the same dreaded error message "UNABLE TO RETRIEVE SPECIFIC ERROR INFORMATION..." which you apparently encountered within the past year. I was hoping it was still fresh enough in your mind that you might shed light on it.
My situation is different from your own -- vfp 6.0, win server 2000, odbc with Intersystems Cache. The application had been running pretty much problem-free for a few years until this cropped up. No application coding changes but there have been minor view changes in response to changes in the underlying Cache tables.
