There was a funny scene in a schlocky summer movie a few years ago, "The Day After Tomorrow". In it Americans fled south after a flash ice age gripped the northern U.S. (Movie junk science at its finest). Mexico put troops on the border to stop illegal immigrants from pouring in from the U.S. (LOL)
