We have a VFP8 exe that uses a .net assembly via COM.
The assembly is registered via REGASM with the /CODEBASE option


When the exe is located on the local machine it runs OK
However, if the exe is loaded from a mapped drive on a server, it fails as soon as it tries to use the .net assembly with OLE error 0x80020006

That is:
c:\mydir\myexe.exe --> no problem
z:\netdir\myexe.exe where z:\ is \\server\share --> OLE error.

It does not matter where the exe "starts in"
Using VFP8 SP1 runtimes.

The assembly is located and registered in the local machine. I tried even copying it to the server, same result.
