Nope, just bursting your bubble above. "Monarchies change peacefully... to family members". So they do, but it doesn't imply it's exclusive to monarchies. So do others, so what? Your remark above isn't in any way representing a flaw in a regal system - it's just one among the systems where a (royal) family competes in politics better than others.
It probably has other flaws, but you've just taken this one off the list.
