What's generating the SP?

I suppose you could write a SP generator with a SP, though more usually it's done from an external application using metadata to generate the correct script based on database changes. Rod Paddock has (used to have?) a product called Dataclas that apparently generated not only SPs but middleware to use them. IOW generation is not dynamic like your SPT-generator, it's done at design-time and then distributed to customer servers along with any other revised apps or tiers. I have heard of dynamic SP generators, but IMHO they fail the "why would you" test.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
