There's no mention of "inexperienced developers" here.

No, but there are absolute pronouncements supported by exaggerated competence payloads including reference to "substantial" development. None of that is necessary to convey an opinion.

Rephrasing sample:

After 4 years of C# I feel as confident in C# as I did in VFP. In fact, I'm finding that I can do stuff with C# that I struggled to do with VFP. (ideally insert examples here) LINQ and WPF have made it even easier to do the things I need. For these reasons, I would never consider starting a new project in VFP."

I guess I'm saying that when people complain about wasps, only the wasp insists that it's the buzzing that offends them. ;-)
