May be you can download the previous version (or ask Paul to send it to you)?
The equivalent of bindevent would be to use a class with the same functionality.
Say, if we're using grid and we need to run some code in Header's dblclick, we can now bind it to the grid's DblClick. Otherwise we would need to use class for the Header and substitute the standard header class with our class.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
