I was tired..........hasn't been my day. Since you're intrigued..........

I had a checkbox in a grid. The checkbox was displaying F/T or a number (depending on the datatype of the controlsource) rather than the checkbox.

I was forgetting to set the grid's RecordSource to empty before recreating the data source.
