>>>>>>>But of course the real moment when Britain won the war was when Churchill came out of that meeting with Halifax and Chamberlain as PM.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>Thats got to be one of the key moments in recent history. If it had gone the other way and Halifax became PM I think you are right and Britain would have come to an deal with the Nazis and history would have been very different . Still might have ended with the Soviets defeating the Nazis but then dominating all of Europe.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>Anyway enough of this historical speculation I'm off to watch my recordings of Deal or No Deal. :-)

>>>>"Deal or no Deal strategies" Hmmmmm. Now if no-one has won a big prize for a while how does that affect your chances and you decision making.

>>>>Who is Howie Mandel ?
>>>
>>>An unfunny American comedian. He has recently washed up as host of "Deal or No Deal", part of the reality show infestation that flourished during the writers' strike.

>>I guess you've never seen his live act then. Saw him a few years ago and it was totally LMAO.

>OK. I saw him on cable once and the only thing I remember is him blowing up a latex glove and pulling it onto his head. Not my kind of comedy.
>
>As someone said, though, he was all right on "St. Elsewhere." I have not seen him on the reality show.

His stand-up live act has certainly progressed far beyond the latex glove thing he used to do. I just find it really hard to look at him with no hair now.
