I've always thought the downside of the internet was the ability for people to remain anonymous. I've read many stories from people detailing the threats made against them when they took a stand on a particular side of the aisle on tech issues.
It's rather sad that someone has so little dignity that they feel compelled to write these types of letters. And feel justfied in doing so.
