Numeric overflow means you are trying to put a number into a field that is not large enough to hold that number. I would stroingly suggest that you change your phone number filed to character and get the formatting right for that data type. I say this becaues phone number are NOT numbers. Number are thing you need to do math to and I don;t think you will ever be interested in the sum of the phoine number or what the average phone number is.

Make you phone number field a 10 character field and format it as "@R (999)999-9999" (if you are using only North American numbers).
