Hmm, that's actually a form of censorship. Consider:
1. I twit you
2. I create a message that says "Jay Johengen is a dew fuss"
If your request is implemented, you would be unable to respond directly to my post.
You could start another thread with a message calling me an ice hole, but since I've twitted you, I wouldn't see it. So, there would be these unrelated threads with the antagonists unable to address each other.
Another side effect is that anyone you twit would find out that you've twitted them. Some might not care about that but some people might prefer to keep their twit list private.
