I have a strange problem with an ADO Recordset. I have a VFP table with 100 records and 17 fields. one of the fields is a Numeric(5). Every value in the records for this field is only 4 long accept for one (10583). Everytime I try to make a ADO Recordset from this table and try to go through this recordset I get an error (Unspecified error) on this record. The recordset behaves a little weird when this record is in it (is has no Recordcount) If I change the field in the first record to a numeric 5 the error occors on instantiating the recordset (returns a E_Fail). If I change the Numerics 5 to numerics 4 everything works just fine. Only this field is giving me trouble any other field can be any length. Can anyone tell what to do about this
