Yup - corrected in the meantime and got it to work. Still, sometimes things that should be .null. (mouse move over no node) return numbers instead. Well, some extra cases to take care off. I'll work it out tomorrow, had enough for today :) (still on vacation)
It's probably the debugger which is not informed well of which properties in a TreeView actually exist - it lists in the locals window everything you mention in code (even mistypes like this). I've also seen things becoming visible in the Locals window as soon as they're mentioned in code, but not before. Don't know it this holds for TreeView, M$'s ActiveX Controls, or ActiveX controls in general, but actually makes the debugger (VFP 5.0, no patches) half-blind.
