I have a form that sets a FILTER on a table (ApptRules) in the INIT. There is also a cursor (crsRemarks) open before the form is run. For my test case, the FILTER condition results in no records, though there are actually records in the ApptRules table. In the form's INIT I have this.

SELECT ApptRules

SET STEP ON

If I run the project, the Alias() in the Debugger still says that ALIAS() is crsRemarks. If I "Set next statement" in the debugger to the "SELECT ApptRules" line and execute, then the Debugger changes and says the ALIAS() is ApptRules.

Anyone have a clue why it's acting like that?
