Great to hear.

>I have to pleasure to announce that our friend and colleague Mike Yearwood has decided to take the role of Editor to UT Mag. The magazine will come back to a quarterly schedule targeting VFP developers. This is a very important initiative as no other major publication about VFP is still in circulation, yet we have been witnessing many interesting developments like the VFP Compiler, Guineu, new versions of Web Connection, Sedna, the VFP X projects, and the upcoming VFP Studio.

> UPDATE: We will not be alone as FoxTalk was aquired by Rainer Becker and is about to be relaunched as FoxRockX.
> It will be great to have TWO magazines back, and we hope to be able to provide ample coverage to the VFP scene.

>Just in case you don't know Mike in more detail than his tiny photo here, is the senior systems analyst and owner of Fox Ridge Software in Toronto. He has over 30 years of application design and development experience. He started with Z80 Assembler, BASIC, dBase II and III before finding Foxbase and continuing with FoxPro up to version 9. The vast majority of his career has been with Fox related products. He has worked in a wide variety of industries -- from Health Care to Public Opinion Research. He worked for / with Mike Feltman and Drew Speedie. He's currently working primarily with Visual MaxFrame Professional and using OOA/OOD/OOP and SQL Server. He does all aspects of development and has written numerous articles and tips for FoxPro Advisor Magazine.

>I will personally support Mike in his new role, and he will surely send another message to the community expressing his ideas for the publication and calling for authors to contribute.
>
>We hope to be able to provide great content, and will be delighted to here from anybody willing to write about the Fox!
